I work at the Manchester City Library as a library clerk. A clerk checks in and out materials and issues new library cards. Someday I hope to advance my position within the library, becoming a librarian. I graudated from the University of New Hampshire Manchester, with a degree in history. My area of focus is public history, believing this area of study would translate well when working at the library. Within my degree, I have completed many different courses including: Introduction to Art History, Modern Art History, Roman Art History, Issues in Public History and Digital History. Also, I did an internship at the Manchester City Library. This internship, I assisted in reorganizing, evaluating, and cataloging the vertical files in the New Hampshire room. Also, I have done research on public libraries in United States, and their revelance in the digital age. For the future, I hope to study genealogy.
